From the start of 2019, it began collaborating with 2 of the leading international certification bodies: LLOYD’S REGISTER, which has given its seal of approval for our overall supply chain quality assurance system, and BUREAU VERITAS, which carries out quality controls on our fuels at one of the best accredited testing labs in the world, meaning you can rest assured on your travels.
elin’s Commitment to Quality includes a series of procedures developed over the years to ensure our fuels and lubricants are of excellent quality and that the right quantity is provided at all points of sale.
LLOYD’S REGISTER has given its seal of approval to our Integrated Quality Assurance Management system which consists of:
- written procedures covering every step in the supply chain
- internal and external audits
- half-yearly reviews of our quality assurance strategy
LLOYD’S REGISTER is the world’s leading Management Systems Certification Body offering certification, verification and training services to a plethora of companies worldwide.
BUREAU VERITAS carries out quality controls:
- on all products, fuels and lubricants,
- at all elin petrol stations
- at each of our facilities
- at all stages of the supply chain upon delivery,
- during storage and transport to end consumers with more than 2,500 samples and analyses carried out per year
BUREAU VERITAS carries out the necessary chemical tests at its lab. Its lab specialised in fuel and lubricants is one of the best equipped and most reliable in the world. The lab is ISO 17025 accredited by Hellenic Accreditation System S.A. BUREAU VERITAS’ services are ISO 9001 certified.
